In addition to planning assistance and grant development, SCOCOG provides services such as computerized mapping, desktop publishing, funding research and local project community development.

SCOCOG can provide:

  • Comprehensive Community Planning
  • Public Facility Grant Preparation
  • Community Survey Analysis
  • Grant Administration for State and Federally Funded Projects

Applications for grants are developed and submitted every year for our local communities. If your community needs assistance in one or more of the listed services, please contact us.  Funding Opportunities

SCOCOG manages a Revolving Loan Fund, designed to create new jobs and provide gap financing to new or expanding companies. Since its beginning in 1986, over 400 new jobs have been directly linked to the SCOCOG Revolving Loan Fund.

SCOCOG oversees community development projects, providing community profiles, compliance reporting, cartography, GIS services and demographic data.

SCOCOG services are available to government and industry throughout Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Shannon, Texas, and Wright Counties.
